For
public transit operators, Telargo provides a sensor telemetry suite intended for improving the transparency of daily operations, simplifying the resolution of passenger complaints, enabling greater information availability on daily passenger fluctuation trends, improving driving styles and reducing the number of blameworthy accidents.
Door sensors
Public Transit operators employ door sensors data in combination with GIS stamps (location, time, date) for easier determination of whether the driver has stopped and opened the doors at a certain station. Thus the process of passenger complaint resolution is made simpler, faster and more transparent.
Data Logger
Telargo Data Logger is a device devised to function as an on-board black box, recording all engine and vehicle telemetry data from vehicle speed, RPM, gear status, braking, oil pressure and engine temperature to accelerations and decelerations exceeding a predefined benchmark of gravitational force on all 3 axes of movement. All logger data is combined with time and location stamps and linked to the driver’s ID providing a clear and transparent record of vehicle status and driver actions in cases of accidents, passenger complaints and other liability charges.
Passenger counting systems
In order to improve the quality of service, enable greater service responsiveness and better adjust to changing transportation requirements, more and more public transit operators are deciding to implement passenger counting systems. Telargo has the ability either to provide such a system through our trustworthy business partners or seamlessly integrate an existing system on both HW and application levels, enabling public transit operators to monitor and analyze passenger fluctuations and trends on a daily bases and incorporate that data into their route and schedule planning processes.
