Remote Diagnostics
Remote diagnostics is intended to help fleet maintenance teams stay on track with important maintenance events in real-time. Maintaining maximum vehicle efficiency and safety requires practicing preventive as well as predictive maintenance.

Remote diagnostics
Remote diagnostics is performed using the Direct Vehicle Bus connection through the OBD-II/CAN interface. OBD-II is an on-board diagnostic system for emission control capable of identifying the likely area of malfunction using fault codes stored in the vehicle’s computer memory.
Transferring the data in real-time, it is an accurate source of vehicle speed, RPM and odometer readings information. Once archived, the information can be accessed using the Telargo Fleet Center portal, enabling accurate and sophisticated fuel efficiency & vehicle utilization calculations, driver behavior analysis as well as vehicle status management.

Predictive maintenance
Predictive maintenance utilizes the vehicle Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) through the OBD-II/CAN interface, allowing maintenance teams to predict possible future vehicle malfunctions and take action before they occur. The OBD-II/CAN connector instantly receives not only diagnostic and emission control data but also other vehicle-related information.

Once detected, DTC information is displayed on the Telargo Fleet Center portal, including the easy-to-understand descriptions. Identified DTC’s are kept active until they are confirmed and marked as such by administrators. Marked DTC records are also archived.

Graphic analysis tool

It allows simultaneous graphic representation of multiple vehicles telemetry data. Basic vehicle information (speed, engine on/off, etc.), OBD-II/CAN acquired data (RPM, fluid level, oil pressure, torque, etc.) and any other data from sensors connected to Telargo’s OBE (engine temperature, door sensors, PTO on/off, brake pad status, etc.) can be easily accessed, displayed and analyzed through the Telargo Fleet Center portal.

Used for Predictive Maintenance

Combining the information acquired for each vehicle from all possible data sources, Telargo provides detailed analytical and real-time remote vehicle diagnostics. Graphs show historical value changes for selected vehicle data sources. Driver-related data can be displayed on the same graph—up to five graphs with up to five user-selected data sources per graph.
