Event notification is a customizable Telargo feature that alerts users about specific events and exceptions which are vital for both day-to-day operations and in critical emergency situations.

The solution guarantees that time-sensitive information is delivered to respective users via short message service (SMS) and/or e-mail as well as being displayed on the Fleet Center Portal when they need it in a form that can be readily comprehended and used.

Being delivered virtually the moment the events happen, these event notifications help users look after the three most important assets in the fleet: the vehicle themselves, the colleagues who drive them and the cargo they drive.

Event notifications include SOS alert triggering, driver and co-driver login/logout, driver status change, cost input (such as monitoring fuel filling to alert users about the vehicle performance issues and filling irregularities) and messaging status events. In the other group are sensor related events: engine, door, fuel tank lid, concrete mixer, etc. sensor statuses, temperature exceptions events (sensor readings that exceed certain limit) and panic button triggering.

Event notifications are presented with all the relevant information about the event such as the cause of the notification, time and location of the event as well as a report on the vehicle and driver related to the event.

Monitoring the events, defining alert levels for fleet management performance and notifying users about the most critical events, enables companies to make intelligent decision on both proactive and reactive basis.
