The Enterprise Administration is integral part of Telargo applications that provides users with high level of
customization and permission management possibilities of all of their vehicle fleet related information; from drivers and vehicle administration to detailed access rights policy management, to management of company locations, GIS data, timetables and more.
In order to get the Telargo Fleet Center running with all its enhanced features and maximally benefit from Telargo Service, first step is to go through the process of enterprise administration. It represents the basis for all further features and functionalities that build the Telargo system. All the settings and data entries are performed on the Telargo Fleet Center and are present and valid throughout all other Telargo Applications.
User administration
The Telargo Fleet Center module for user administration enables the creation of portal users, portal user groups and userranks. Telargo allows companies to configure access to data by defining individual user permissions. Data can be synchronized with the client’s HR/CRM system as well.
Users can be ranked according to their predefined permissions, which define the functionalities users are allowed to access based on two criteria:
- vehicle group
- functionality
For example, a user may have the right to see only alarms triggered by specific fleet vehicle.
Apart from defining portal users the Enterprise Administration enables the company to define
drivers and driver groups based on company organization.

A possible arrangement of drivers
into groups according to various criteria
With Driver status those statuses, that can be selected by the driver on the Telargo Handset, can be defined. Using these statuses track route types can be monitored, such as private, business, waiting…
Vehicle administration
By using vehicle groups multiple vehicles in a larger fleet can be easily managed. Vehicles can be arranged by their activities, range of activities, function or by any other desired segmentation (functional groups such as Operations, Service, etc.)
Secondary vehicle groups will allow segmentation of vehicles according to the conditions other than those covered by Vehicle group (area groups such as West, East, NW, SW, etc.)

Vehicle groups information entry
Custom fields are used to customize the data describing fleet vehicles. Some of these fields are fixed and can only be selected while others are defined by the individual company.

Custom fields entry
Using phonebook allows to control phone call expenses. Each vehicle can be configured to:
- allow any incoming/outgoing call
- allow only incoming/outgoing calls from numbers in the Phonebook
- allow no incoming or outgoing calls
Location management
Location management enables the customization of those Telargo Service functions that are location based so that they better reflect clients’ internal location descriptions. Synchronization with the client’s GIS system is another benefit.
Telargo’s Enterprise administration can be integrated with other IT systems, increasing ROI for applications such as ERP, CRM and GIS.
