Telargo Service is powered by a set of devices installed in a vehicle, which allow vehicle monitoring and driver/operator communication.
Standard on-board equipment includes:
- Telargo On-Board Unit- a central hub for periphery connections equipped with positioning and communication modules
- Telargo Handset - a dashboard-mounted device used for voice communication, service interaction and messaging
- Antennas & cables
- RFID Card for driver identification
The Telargo Service can be customized for individual client’s needs with additional equipment. This equipment may include:
Additional productivity tools also can be connected to the Telargo On-Board Unit such as:
- PDAs
- printers
- third party devices
Installation
Equipment is configured for each vehicle installation based on the type of the vehicle and its requirements.
The basic installation includes:
- installing On-Board Unit and connecting to the vehicle electrical system
- installing keypad to the dashboard
- installing antennas and cables
- connect sensors and on-board diagnostics (optional)
- system configuration
