Telargo is committed to providing accurate and up-to-date maps so that our clients have the map content they need to run their fleet operation effectively. To achieve this, the Telargo Map Server combines data from multiple sources to complement its major source of worldwide maps with additional coverage and extra spatial information.

Map sources
Telargo partners with Tele Atlas for worldwide coverage. The following regions are supported:

• Europe, including Russia and Turkey
• U.S., Canada and Mexico
• Brazil and Argentina

Telargo also provides maps of the following regions:

• Hong Kong
• Thailand
• Malaysia
• Macao
• Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro

Map features
Telargo Map Server supports:

• vector maps (such as navigable maps)
• raster maps (such as satellite maps)

The following features are provided for each map:

• geocoding (calculates coordinates from addresses)
• reverse geocoding (calculates street number from a coordinate)
• map rendering

The following data is provided, subject to map type and region:

• traffic information
• points of interest (POI) (service stations, restaurants, hospitals, etc.)

Combining Track & Trace functionality with map information provides a number of useful functions, such as:

• show location of vehicles
• show all vehicles in a particular view
