Emerging Partnerships on Mobile Platforms – A Potential Unleashed
October 10th 2005, Bled, Slovenia, Europe - Optimism is an understatement – that's what the recent years’ development in the mobile industry is teaching us today. With the first (voice, messaging) and second (data) generations of mobile products & services firmly established across the globe and providing revenue streams in the form of subscriptions and service fees, mobile industry has reached maturity where the roles are cast and the players firmly dominating their markets.
But it seems however, that the momentum of vertical expansion has lost its pace and that the promising potentials wait in the horizontal direction. A new generation of customer-tailored mobile products and services is emerging by embracing expertise and needs of various industries: telecommunications, telematics, logistics, automotive, computing, IT, finance, entertainment etc. The third generation products are on the rise; they expand the way we look upon the mobile business, bring new kinds of customers and create new revenue streams.
Telargo is about to introduce a new business to the US, European and Asian markets – a mobile assets management service. The “Emerging Partnerships on Mobile Platforms – A Potential Unleashed” conference is a kick-off event for Telargo, where its service, technology and business models will be presented and opportunity unveiled. The conference will additionally bring together eminent speakers from mobile operators, content providers, product developers, banks and other financial institutions to present their views on convergence in the industry spearheaded by the mobile evolution. As a guest of honor Mr. Masayuki Hirata, Senior Executive Vice President of NTT DoCoMo will be the keynote speaker at the conference. Topics list includes:
