Telargo presented Delivery Manager (Beta), one of its latest applications built for the growing platform of Android mobile devices. The video shows, how a simple mobile application can offer a major upgrade to the existing logistics system.
Telargo's Delivery manager is the first Android based delivery management application. Running as an upgrade of Telargo Fleet Center it allows the user to optimize, verify, track, navigate to and report the statuses of a complete range of daily trip orders in real time.
The application can be run on any standard Android mobile device and proves how a major system upgrade doesn’t have to include heavy and costly hardware replacement.
Android mobile unit connects to the Telargo Fleet center via one of the complete array of existing mobile networks currently available or selected by user.
To get the maximum out of Delivery Manager, Telargo advises its users to have Google Maps and Barcode reader installed on their system.
