Telargo's research director, Martin Pečar will be presenting Telargo's original approach and improvements in the accurate description of vehicle trajectories. The lecture will be held at 16th ITS World Congress in Stockholm, the global summit on efficient and ecologically sound solutions for the future of intelligent transport.
Vectorized road network database creation and updating is not an easy task. Constantly evolving situation demands a fully engaged development team with constant overview of the situation on the ground, wich translates into lot of time, effort and money.
During development and constant improvement of our tracking and mapping solutions, Telargo has developed procedures for accurate description of vehicle trajectories. This allows for automatic computation of the road network map from scratch, and real-time update of the map, resulting in various new applications, as well as overall improvement of the positioning system.
These advances enable considerable savings for mapping companies and faster map updates for road users. It is also the core technology of the Telargo's Fleet Center acclaimed processing power.
