NPTC - National Private Truck Council
National Private Truck Council (NPTC) is the national trade association dedicated exclusively to representing private motor carrier fleets. These corporate or "private" truck fleets are operated by manufacturers, distributors, processors, and retailers to meet their inbound and outbound transportation needs. Such fleets also include food, retail, wholesale, construction and service companies.
Private motor carrier fleets account for approximately 82 percent of the medium and heavy-duty trucks registered in the United States; travel approximately 53 percent of all the U.S. miles traveled for medium and heavy-duty trucks; and consist of slightly more than two million vehicles. Consequently, private fleets comprise the largest segment of the trucking industry.

IFDA - The International Foodservice Distributors Association
In 1969 International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) was merged with National-American Wholesale Grocers' Association (NAWGA) as a part of the U.S. Wholesale Grocers Association and became NAWGA's foodservice division. IFDA began independent operations on January 1, 2003 after its Board of Directors made the long contemplated decision that IFDA should be established as a freestanding trade organization. The organization represents foodservice distributors throughout the U.S., Canada, and internationally. IFDA members operate more than 600 facilities and sell more than $83 billion in food and related products to the fastest growing sector in the food industry.
For nearly 40 years, IFDA has worked diligently to advance the interests of foodservice distributors through government relations, industry relations, education, and research. Telargo became one of the many IFTA members that include broadline, system, and specialty distributors with operations ranging from regional to international scope.

We self-certify compliance with

Safe harbor certification
The U.S. Department of Commerce in consultation with the European Commission developed a "safe harbor" framework. It mission is to bridge the different privacy approaches and provide a streamlined means for U.S. organizations to comply with the European Commission’s Directive on Data Protection.
The safe harbor -- approved by the EU in 2000 -- is an important way for U.S. companies to avoid experiencing interruptions in their business dealings with the EU or facing prosecution by European authorities under European privacy laws. Certifying to the safe harbor will assure that EU organizations know that your company provides "adequate" privacy protection, as defined by the Directive.
